Slovenian skier Ilka Štuhec has won another small crystal globe in today's world cup downhill race in Aspen, US.

She has thus become the 7th female skier in history to win the overall world cup in the discipline that she became a world champion in in the same season.

Lindsey Vonn of the US came through the finish line with the second fastest time, followed by Sofia Goggia of Italy.

She has a chance to win another small crystal globe in tomorrow's super-G. There, the 26-year-old from Maribor faces a tighter race. Tina Weirather of Liechtenstein is namely trailing her by only 15 points ahead of the season finale in the discipline.
